Want to know where to get the best almond milk latte, avocado toast or acai bowl? Well look no further because I have curated (and tested!) the best spots in Miami for you. I've also added my favorite things on the menu, which I keep going back for.
(Disclaimer: I am a vegetarian, so I cannot recommend any meat or fish based dishes)
So without any further ado, let's get started:
1. ALL DAY
Located in Downtown, ALL DAY was named the #1 Coffee Shop in Miami 2017 by the Miami New Times and for a very good reason, their take on coffee making is unlike any other. From nitrogen infused coffees to pour overs they've got it all.
But that's not the only thing that makes them my favorite cafe- their brunch is absolutely to die for! My personal favorite is the avocado tartine, (which is definitely my favorite in Miami) the french toast and my (carnivore) boyfriend's go-to dish the Pan Con Croqueta.
Atmosphere is laid back and price point is pretty medium for Miami.
My Favorites: Avocado Tartine, French Toast, Pan Con Croqueta, & Milk, ??? (this is an actual name of a coffee, seasonal and delicious)
2. SAGRADO PASTRY
Even though this spot celebrated its grand opening in November 2017 I've already been there 3 times in only a few weeks. Right across from the American Airlines Arena and the PAMM Museum, Sagrado Pastry is a Brazilian Cafe and Bakery. The interior design is beautiful, eclectic and will draw you in but their menu items will have you coming back again and again. From fresh coffee, pastries, crispy bread, delicious sandwiches to their incredible Brigadeiros (a Brazilian chocolate truffle), Sagrado has quickly become one of my go-to spots.
My Favorites: Cheese and Tomato Puffies (As shown above. They have a big tomato & mozzarella ciabatta as well which is delish!) and the Passionfruit Smoothie
OTL is conveniently located in the heart of Miami's Design District and is a well-loved coffee shop among locals. OTL is especially perfect for that foodie Instagram shoot you've been looking for with it's beautiful pink and teal color scheme. It also boasts colorful coffee cups and food presentation to match.
My Favorites: OTL Super Seed Butter Toast and the Market Grain Bowl
Speaking of Instagram spots, Dreamer takes the cake and is THE spot for your next IG pic. Flamingo and palm tree wallpaper add to the chill vibe along with cute SoBe-worthy decorations. Their extensive smoothie, matcha and acai bowl selections make Dreamer an absolute dream (pun intended)!
My Favorites: Vanilla Chai Latte and the Blueberry & Peanut butter Acai bowl
5. PANTHER COFFEE
Panther Coffee is a Miami-based coffee chain with locations in Miami Beach, Wynwood and Coconut Grove. I love to come here for a quality cup of coffee and whenever I need a quiet spot to work at. The location in Sunset Harbor (Miami Beach) is by far my favorite since it's very spacious and right across from the Harbor. The staff here is super friendly which is another reason I will always be coming back.
My Favorites: ALL THE COFFEE!
6. UNDER THE MANGO TREE
If you're looking for the most authentic acai bowls in South Beach look no further than Under The Mango Tree. A small and cozy little spot with a great menu filled with many vegan and vegetarian options. They have become so popular they recently relocated to 5th street to better accommodate their ever growing business!
My Favorites: Mango Tree Smoothie and the Chocolate Bowl
7. JOE AND THE JUICE
The worldwide juice and coffee shop has finally opened its doors on Collins Avenue! A huge spot with lots of little private corners to sit and lounge as well as pop out that laptop and get some work done while sipping on some freshly made organic juice or a delicious almond milk latte. They have a very extensive menu with plenty of healthy things to eat as well.
My Favorites: Pick Me Up Juice (all juices are amazing there so it's hard to pick a fave) and the Breakfast Club Joeghurt
8. ROSETTA BAKERY
An Italian inspired bakery serving freshly baked focaccias with loads of different toppings as well as a variety of pastries. Every time you walk by there is something freshly baked in the window to make you instantly feel hungry. It's a relatively small spot and better suited to grab on the go than to sit and have a relaxed coffee and snack. I love this place however, I will be honest, it is quite pricey.
My Favorites: Sundried Tomato & Zucchini Focaccia, any focaccia really but they change daily
Hoping you enjoyed this list. Have you ever been to any of these and/ or have any more cool spots you want me to add to the list? Let me know in the comments below.
